“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.” (Psalm 127:3)
This past Mother’s Day, I preached a message at Threshold Church on the value of mothers and children. While much of our society views children as a burden or a nuisance, God sees them as a blessing and a gift. Kids are vital members of God’s kingdom and they can know Him and be used by Him now—not just when they get older. And whether you have children of your own or not, we should all desire to have God’s heart for kids.
In this message, I spoke about the value of children and the significant role that mothers have in shaping them. I also gave some practical examples and ideas for how to invest, value, and train our kids in the ways of the Lord. It is never a waste of time to pour into our children!
